NOTTINGHAM: Let Your Left Hand Sing?

Thursday, 17th September, 2009, 6pm, £6
Nottingham Playhouse

Kevin Fegan will be performing his dramatic poem of migrant workers Let Your Left Hand Sing.

One morning on his way to work Kevin decided he would knock on all his neighbours' doors, not just to say hello but to find out what their stories where. By the time he’d reached the end of the street he’d met pretty much half the populations of the world and they were just like him. Let Your Left Hand Sing recounts these stories as well as Kevin’s own.

Kevin has written over 40 plays for the stage, seven plays for BBC Radio 4 plus a Woman’s Hour Serial and a Classic Serial, a few short films plus a spell as a storyline writer for Coronation Street and eight volumes of poetry. Kevin is a regular performer of his own poetry.

Box office open 10am-8pm - 0115 941 9419 to book a ticket or pop in to see us.
