Hackney Unemployed Workers Action Group

An evening of food, live spoken word and DJs

Featuring: Kate Tempest - inspirational young MC-poet from South London, currently blazing a trail across the spoken word world. Catch her while you still can afford to!
Jonny Fluffypunk - the 'pastoral nihilist' famous for his comic insight born of bitter experience.
HKB Finn - Former Katch 22 MC and front man in an 'acoustic-afro-hiphop' band. Mojo said of his latest album that this "ruminative and politically insightful record confirms his status as an innovator...Urban album of the year"
Angry Sam - Hammer and Tongue host: "Sam kills the crowd softly with rare wit and a laid back style that softens the knife wounds left by his acid political poetics and searing urban imagery."
