Our special guest for September is the much acclaimed (and also comes highly recommended by our guest MC this month, the lovely Mark Niel)...Andre Mangeot
André Mangeot lives and works in Cambridge, UK. He has published two poetry collections to date: Natural Causes (Shoestring, 2003) and Mixer (Egg Box, 2005) along with a book of short stories, A Little Javanese (Salt, 2008). A second volume is due in early 2010 and he is currently working on a novel set in Romania. He has won recent prizes in many leading UK poetry competitions such as the Bridport and Scottish National (twice). He was a finalist in the Hammer & Tongue London Poetry Slam earlier this year and is a member of the poetry performance collective The Joy of Six which has performed at festivals across England & Wales and in New York.
