November’s Poetry Bites guest, Laurence Inman, was born in Birmingham. He taught English for twenty five years, in Manchester, London, Leicester, Exeter, Germany, Bahrain an Singapore, before becoming a playwright, short story writer, stand up comedian and actor, and, of course, a poet. He has appeared in a number of TV dramas and in the film “Sex Lives of the Potato Men” with Johnny Vegas and Mackenzie Crook. His work appears in Loffing Matters, published by Tindal Street Press. He would like people in general to be more stoical and believes that there is, at the moment, exactly the right amount of happiness in the world.

Poetry Bites, hosted by Jacqui Rowe, also includes floor spots where you can share your own poetry with an appreciative audience. Please arrive early to book a spot.
