Night Blue Fruit at the Tin Angel, Coventry: TONIGHT, Tuesday April 3rd.

NIGHT BLUE FRUIT at the TIN ANGEL

Practically a legend in the Midlands, this very popular open mic poetry night in the heart of medieval Coventry is well worth a visit if you're in the area tonight, or on any first Tuesday of the month.

Barry Patterson on his bodhran.

Arrive by 8pm to sign up to read on the night; this informal event kicks off by about 8.30pm most months. A crowd of talented and highly experienced poets and performers jostles with newcomers, some good, others ... bizarre. But always welcome at the Tin Angel under the auspices of Jon Morley and the Heaventree Press.

NBF is an eclectic mix of styles, voices and opinions. And the beer's good!
