The first ever Coventry Festival of Literature is happening next weekend, 4th - 7th May, and has a pre-festival launch event tomorrow night, Tuesday 1st May, at the Tin Angel in Mediaeval Spon Street, Coventry. The Festival's official title is the FESTIVAL OF LITERATURE & LIBERTY; its theme this year is the British abolition of the slave trade.

Come along to the launch event at the Tin Angel on Tuesday at 8pm for a new book launch from Heaventree Press and an open mic for all-comers, known to its intimates as NIGHT BLUE FRUIT at the TIN ANGEL. The Guest MC for this month only will be none other than this site's editor, Jane Holland!
