This is the opening night of the Aye Write literary festival. Fifteen poets will be battling it out for the title of Scottish Slam Champ. We have contestants from Riddrie, Washington DC, Oldham, Kilmarnock, Clydebank, Newcastle and other points outlandish and various. Robin Cairns is your compere. We had 200 in the audience last year, all contributing to the electric atmosphere of a keenly contested slam. Come along and support your favourites.
