A spoken-word special from three festival favourites - Andy Craven-Griffiths, Excentral Tempest and Ventriloquist are three of THE names to drop whenever spoken-word is on the agenda. Maybe it's because of the trail of shredded-up festival stages they've been leaving in their wake just recently. But there's more to these three than just crowd-pleasing; each of them is currently developing a spoken-word theatre piece, and tonight we feature exciting excerpts from their three shows - Family Matters, GamePlay and The Lost Menagerie.
With Ventriloquist's hiphop-inflected soul-searching, the articulate swaggerof Andy's character-sketches, and the vocal bombardment as Tempest takes on Aesop, this'll be a night when you won't know quite what's hit you. But you'll like it! And compere Baden Prince Jr will be making sure of that.
