As London celebrates its first city-wide spoken-word festival, Shot from the Lip, Apples & Snakes shows the rest of the world what Deptford can do. On Friday March 16th they feature the fast ‘n’ furious words of Metis, a little hip-hop theatre from Sean Graham and the consummate compering of Joshua Idehen. They’ve always got one eye on London’s up-and-coming verbal talent, so turn up early and sign in for one of their open mic slots!
