LONDON: Word Is Born - Inc. Magazine Launch

This chilled out Sunday evening spoken word event, organised by the Soul Rub Collective has been running for almost a year now, hosting a range of spoken word performances, live music and jam sessions. Previous acts include spoken word master Disraeli and ....

This months affair is an extra special one, as it is also the launch party of the latest addition to Soul Rub - Inc. Magazine. Inc. Magazine is a poetry magazine that will run monthly, to coincide with each Word Is Born event, and will feature the lyrics, poems and songs of many of the performers at the night. The magazine will also be open for public submissions and hopefully the first issue will inspire you to submit something for the next one!

The night will kick off with poetry readings from 8pm, followed by live music from incredible Ethio-jazz band the Abyss Quartet and chilled experimental project, Stereo Soul. The night will end with it's usual open mic jam session open to poets, MCs and musicians alike.
