Words on Film at MMU
Simon Armitage launches his latest book, The Not Dead. It explores the human cost of fighting and killing through the stories of three soldiers who relive their experiences of the Gulf, Bosnia and Malayan wars. At the launch, poet he will use the film to discuss how he wrote the script after listening to interviews with the veterans, all of whom suffered post-traumatic stress.
