Warwick Words - Festival of Literature and Spoken Word
"Warwick Words is taking place in various venues around the historictown between 4 - 7 October 2007 and promises to be a lively and
entertaining weekend with something for everyone.
During the weekend there will be lots of performances, talks and
workshops to choose from including; a Literary Lunch, Poetry & Pints,
Philip Larkin Walk, Warwick SLAM, creative writing workshops,
Afternoon Teas, Children's Book Fair and activities, Poetry Cafe and
much more!
Special Guests to date include: Roy Hattersley, Sophie Hannah,
Michael Wood, Pauline Prior-Pitt, Will Hutton, Harry Mount, Zoe
Brigley, David Morley and many more.
Full Festival details will be released in July.
Warwick Poet Laureate 2007/2008 competition details have just been
