This Sunday being the last Sunday of the month means it's time for some very informal open mic poetry and spoken word in Birmingham again. Poets, musicians and performers are invited to the Sunday XPress: usual set-up, 2pm-6pm, Market Tavern in Digbeth, near the bus depot and not far from the city centre.
Open mic for performers, anything you want to do up there, poems, short stories, stand-up, spoken word, music, lots of fun and a supportive audience. Liz Smith, the organiser, promises to do her best on the free roast potatoes front, but she might be running a bit late so don't get your hopes up!
