Life in Transit - A night of interactive poetry at the Poetry Cafe

Sam Berkson has created an interactive poetry show based on his recent collection Life in Transit (Influx Press 2012). Expect audience participation, poetry, performance, laughs and sharp insights. Life in Transit explores the meaning of public transport and our relationship with the complex dichotomy of privately owned, publicly used networks

Featuring Sam Berkson, Raymond Antrobus and Michelle Madsen.

"Sam Berkson's own stories of life spent on London's public transport system, including lust on bendy buses and the cramped tyranny of the tube carriage at rush hour, brought political meanings to the tawdry and humdrum experience of the everyday commuter." - The Independent
