Guest Poet - Sue Johns
Sue Johns was born in Penzance, Cornwall and now lives in South London. Sue began writing and performing as a ‘punk poet’ and is a veteran of the London circuit. She has performed at festivals and cabarets around the country as a solo performer and with Dodo Modern Poets and also writes and performs theatrical monologues. Sue’s work is honest, thought provoking and often deeply personal. She has been published in numerous magazines and anthologies and her sixth collection, ‘Hush’, was published by Morgan’s Eye Press in 2011.

A short collection of poems from a longer collection of years, performed to jazz standards and original compositions arranged in collaboration with John Pope (electric bass), Adrian Moody (saxophone) and with guest percussionist Martin Pyne.
